REVIEW | ANASTASIA BROW POWDER DUO

After searching for what felt like years I have finally found my holy grail brow product. The Anastasia Brow Powder Duo is well known for being many peoples HG product and now I can 100% understand why. I ordered this from cultbeauty for £17. As I live in England I had to order online as I couldn't get this in store anywhere so I had to pay a whopping £3.95 postage and packaging charge. Thankfully the product is so amazing I can honestly say that it was worth every penny spent.
I could write a massive list of reasons why I love this product but instead of keeping you here all day I'll just stick to the three main reasons...Firstly, it has shrunk the eyebrow products that I use on a daily basis to just one product. Secondly, it literally stays on all day! We've all tried out those products that look great in the morning but then in the evening look like they haven't been on your face? This isn't one of them! My brows are the same from when I leave the house to when I take off my makeup which is a definite winner! Lastly, I love how you can build coverage from sheer to medium so if I wanted to go for a natural brow I could and if I wanted bolder more dramatic brows I could do that.

REVIEW | MAC 266 BRUSH

Today I went into the city mainly for one thing...this MAC brush! For awhile now I have needed a small angled brush and the 266 is very famous among YouTubers and bloggers for creating the perfect brows and also for doubling up as a suitable eyeliner applicator. After hearing many fantastic reviews about it I managed to convince myself that this brush was worth the £16.50 MAC charge. There also obviously negative reviews along with the good, many of the negative were commenting on how it's not that good for applying eyeliner but after watching videos etc I decided that it's just your own personal preference on whether you like the look this brush gives when using it with eyeliner. So I'd look into it if you're thinking of purchasing!

As soon as I got home I was eager to try it out; so I did. As pictured above I firstly attempted using it to apply eyeliner. Today instead of using the gel I usually use I went for the black eyeshadow 'Crave' in the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette to create a softer look. I found that it made it so much easier for me and it instantly made the brush worth the money! Winged eyeliner has always been very tricky for me (so I tended to avoid it) and this made it much easier, previous to this brush I'd been using the Real Techniques fine liner brush to apply eyeliner. To perfect the winged eyeliner 'look' much more practice is needed but with the help of this brush I can tell it's going to be easier to do!
Secondly, I did my usual brow routine (I would picture it but there's one product too many to do so!). The 266 literally helped make my brows look much better. Things I instantly noticed is that the product picked up better on the brush, that the firmness of the brush is ideal and it's just overall perfect! I am planning on purchasing the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo very soon so I am so excited to try both that and the 266 together!
Finally, I 100% think this is worth the £16.50 I spent on it and I can see this brush becoming a holy grail for me very quickly! I also really do recommend this brush to anyone looking for a small angled brush!

Apologies for how long this post ended up being, I had no idea I had so much to say!
Hope you enjoyed!
