STYLE | DARE TO DOUBLE DENIM

Double Denim. Otherwise previously known as a fashion DON'T. 

However it's 2017 now and the days where myself and probably many others wouldn't dream of 'double deniming' are gone. Alas, it's socially acceptable (not that that would stop me anyway...).

The first bit of denim I'm wearing is the amazing lace up denim jacket from Topshop which isn't online anymore but cost around £69. For me although I have a very strong love for jackets the price was quite steep (luckily I worked there so hola discount!) compared to other denim jackets available in other stores. BUT, the lace up detailing and the cropped look made it so I just couldn't resist. As soon as I tried it on I knew I had to pair it with the black denim skirt I'm wearing which is also from Topshop. This specific skirt I also can't find online anymore but cost around £29. Here is a link for the matching one to the jacket which I was dying to also get to be fully coordinated but my bank account didn't agree with that idea so I was sensible (for once).

Seeing as a double denim look can be a statement itself, as it was a cooler summer evening I went for a simple jesery roll neck that cost £2.50 from Primark (really can't go wrong with that price) to keep it simple. but with the denim being black the tops which I could pair with this duo is pretty much never ending.
