TOP PICKS | DRUGSTORE MASCARAS

Hello all,

Welcome to my new series 'TOP PICKS'. I've been wanting to start this for a while seeing as I seem to have a lot of top picks, ranging from fashion to beauty products.

To start off with is my two top mascara picks. I'm quite fussy on mascara, so for me to find a good one is quite impressive and recently I've managed to find another one!

My first holy grail is Maybelline 'The Falsies' which to be honest I've been on and off using since I was like 13. It's one I love but it somehow always seems to fade from my make up bag eventually then when I buy it again I just love it all over again. I love it as it doesn't crumble under my eyes, and actually gives good volume to my not so impressive natural eyelashes. As well as this it isn't expensive at £7.99.

A new edition to my mascara must haves is L'Oreal's 'Volume Million Lashes'. Similar to Falsies, the volume I can build up with it is pretty good. The lasting time is also impressive as with some mascara I find mid day I look in the mirror and I look as though I have none on...but luckily with this one that's not the case.It cos's £10.99 and I don't think that's out the way at all!

So there we have it my top mascara picks!

HOW TO | GET THE PERFECT FOUNDATION SHADE

Hello lovelies,

This post is something I think pretty much every single pale person can relate to, seeing as for me no foundation shade is ever perfect and therefore can easily turn out with my face being a different shade to my neck...

REVIEW | TOO FACED MELTED LIPSTICKS

I'm not that much of a lipstick gal but when I am these Too Faced Melted lipsticks are 9 times out of 10 the ones I use. The darker pink shade Chihuahua and the lighter nude is Sugar.

Why? the both shades are so versatile with sooo many outfits that it makes them hard to resist, and they also have good pigmentation to them. I think the main reason why they're my favourites is how they feel on my lips, as they aren't that matte and they have a slight creamy texture it makes my lips look 'healthier' as for me the matte look just doesn't work.

However, although they are my favourites the lasting time on them isn't incredible which for the price is a bit of a disappointment, however reapplying isn't a hassle for me but if it is for you then I wouldn't highly recommend them when rating them on their lasting power.

Do you guys have a favourite go to lipstick?

Thanks for reading!

REVIEW | ZOEVA COCOA BLEND PALETTE

Hello again lovelies!

Today's post is mixing it up from the style posts and I'm going to do a lil' review of this beaut Zoeva palette!

I was lucky enough to get this as a present off of my sister for my birthday last month and since haven't stopped wearing it. I've refrained from editing the pictures so you can really see how amazing the colours actually are. As you can probably see from the pictures 'Warm Notes' the amazing shimmery pink in the middle is my absolute favourite, I normally use this for a go to under the eye colour to really make any eye look pop, if not go for it all over the lid which also really does stand out!

Whenever I wear this palette I get compliments but as well as the shades being amazing, the pigmentation and stay time are just as good, even without primer these can last all day/night, which for me is a definite winner. This palette I would say is 100% worth the money as it enables you to create so many different looks (a lot i've still yet to try) and is just overall pretty darn good. I can't wait to get my hands on another Zoeva palette!

Till next time,
